The Fraternity & Sorority Life Advisor (FSA) serves as the advisor for the Interfraternity Council, the Panhellenic Council and the National Pan-Hellenic Council. Often called the "Greek Advisor," this professional works closely with campus administrators, the North-American Interfraternity Council (NIC), National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), staff at intern/national headquarters offices, chapter volunteers, and other campus staff. The FSA helps ensure that chapters and councils are staying abreast of changing national policies and trends, supports their development and sustainability at WMU, and helps foster students' leadership roles on campus.
At Western Michigan University, the FSA (or Assistant Director of SALP) is supported by a Graduate Assistant for Fraternity & Sorority Life. For advising assistance, please contact the Fraternity & Sorority Life Graduate Assistant.
